There was plenty of Latin music to dance to at the relatively new Taj party, but it was not just Salsa, this party had plenty of Hustle too. The food was tasty. The atmosphere was sophisticated. The lighting was subdued without being too dark. The space was filled with a lively energy. I thought the music was sometimes amplified a little too loudly, but other than that it looked like a close to perfect party. A live band alternated with a DJ. The dancers in attendance ranged from experts to beginners. Everyone was welcomed.

This party is being organized by Talia Castro-Pozo of Stepping Out Studios, where you can take lessons in all of the dance styles played at the party. People do tend to dress up a bit for this party, so come on out and show your style.
