April 10-May 3
Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm
Tickets: General Admission $28 | Students and Seniors $26 | $12 Thursdays

WEEK 1: APRIL 10 – 12

Inlet Dance Theatre

In Concert

Inlet Dance Theatre returns to Cleveland Public Theatre with three new works by Bill Wade - "Angels Unaware, 10" (a duet honoring Joshua Brown and Elizabeth Pollert's 10th
season) and "Fire" – the third installment in Four Elements. Audience will also experience sections of a new piece, "Nature Displays",
inspired by the exhibit Nature's Mating Games: Beyond the Birds and the Bees at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History

WEEK 2: APRIL 17 – 19 (double bill)

Travesty Dance Group

In this striking evening of dance and live music, Artistic Director Kimberly Karpanty's dance solos are performed by herself and TDG company dancers, accompanied in performance by live musicians. Contemporary scores for solo piano, cello, French horn, percussion and voice will be played by nationally-recognized musicians Quinn Kalmansson and Claudia Howard Queen.

Double-Edge Dance

Double-Edge Dance presents a selection of diverse works choreographed by Kora Radella, ranging from solos to sextets, accompanied by musical compositions from Michelle Birsky and DEDance co-founder/saxophonist, Ross Feller. Enjoy compelling performances by DED company members and special guest artists from Radella's "fearlessly physical" new dance project, boomerang.

WEEK 3: APRIL 24 – 26 (double bill)

Antaeus Dance

Events Leading Up to My Death

Antaeus Dance plumbs the depths with two dramatic premieres by Artistic Director Joan Meggitt and company member Heather Koniz, with new music by Greg D'Alessio. Events Leading Up to My Death delves into the mystery of a person's undoing. Let My Hero In dives headlong into the maelstrom of addiction.

Shen & Bones Performance Group

Betweens implies space and, more specifically, the space that completes the whole - referred to as "Ma" in Japanese culture. Experience "Ma" through eight distinct dances by Shen & Bones Performance Group, known for their striking, visceral works that blend the Japanese dance form of Butoh with western contemporary dance styles.

WEEK 4: MAY 1 – MAY 3

Verb Ballets

Verb Ballets' Spring Series

Verb Ballets' Spring Series features the work of The Cleveland Foundation's Creative Fusion Artist-in- Residence, Ngo Thanh Phuong, in a new work exploring 21st century Vietnamese life and culture. The program also includes a world premiere by contemporary choreographer Sara Whale, inspired by the work of Austrian symbolist painter Gustav Klimt.
