Steve Sucato has already written our main review of Ballet Across America's Program 3, so I will just add a few additional thoughts.

Boston Ballet's Brake the Eyes, which was characterized by graceful poses connected by convulsive spasms, had fine and assured technique underlying the innovative choreography. According to a knowledgeable audience member, the spoken words used in this ballet were random colors and numbers in Russian. It would be interesting to pick a section of the ballet and then present it twice, once in the original Russian and once in English, to see if the effect on the audience changes.

The Oregon Ballet Theatre's Rush contained one of the best sections of the night. I felt the couples in this ballet made sense together. They were mu suave. They danced through the whole arc.

In general, I thought the Ballet Across America program was a great idea. The audience got to see a diversity of styles and plenty of talent in a single show.
