"Exit"

Driving down the west side into a dark alley. Disembarking off of my 97' Mitsubishi Galant to travel on foot over to a darker and gloomy area. All of a sudden many bright lights appear and young excited people wait on line to enter what appears to be an exciting dance club. This is Exit.

Once inside, it is a complete wonderland. The motif is something out of a sci fi comic book. The 2010 hi-tech look is done through gigantic oval screens, moving video panels, crystalline like walls and enough speakers to outnumber the amount of soldiers that combatted in the American Revolution. The sound system is amazing, the music comes at you so loud that in fact you can actually feel the vibration. It is just like one of those cars with the expensive stereo system, except these effects are all done inside a huge venue. The seats are all around huge round tables making it best to come here with your entourage if you wish to look stylish. If you are under 21 you need not fear simply because at Exit they will admit as young as 18.

There are multiple levels and all different types of dancing ranging from latin to hip hop. There are energetic bodies all over the place expressing themselves through passionate movement. In this atmosphere I cannot help being taken over by the music. One of the best qualities of the club is the diversity in dance styles. Everyone is doing something different and many are just moving in ways that express what is in their souls and not in a dancing class. At Exit, the electric slide is a thing of beauty. A lot of people are very shy about dancing, including myself. However after ten minutes of watching the people at Exit you have witnessed so many people dancing horribly that any movement you churn out at this point will not be so bad.

Ultimately this club caters to the 18-24 crowd. The theme changes based on what day of the week it is. For examples Thursday nights are considered "Latin Night", where the majority of the music played is Latin and the special guest performers that night would also happen to be latin musicians. It's also a very nice place because it does not turn away the young adults unlike most clubs where you must be 21 to enter. That makes for a very diversified crowd and an easier night for bouncers who do not have to be on the look out for fake identification cards. I strongly recommend this place because I always go home happy when I spend the night partying at Exit. They never disappoint.

The clock strikes 3am and the night is over. Many happy young dancers leave with Exit with a smile and a look of satisfaction on their faces. Everyone has had a chance to express themselves and now it is time to rest, for tommorow is another night.
