*An earlier project: "Bharatanatyam Variations" http://www.rajikapuri.com/bnvars_flier.html (which was on hold since my dance partner, Preeti Vasudevan went off to get an MA at the Laban School in London) was an exploration of traditional Bharatanatyam from a 'post-modern- perspective. This time I go one further, which is to look at the inspiration for the first project - the mathematical structures behind Bach's work - in particular, the permutations and combinations he uses in his FUGUES. Having fun, but don't have enough time to rehearse the pianist or the my second dancer. But the project is 'alive', and now Preeti is back and flying in for our last performance. Hurrah!
