Gotham Swing Club Free Day - a great resource for West Coast Swing dancers

The Gotham Swing Club held its annual Free Day at Dance Manhattan. This is a day of lessons, a community meeting and a party that is free to members of New York City's West Coast Swing club. Erik Novoa, Hazel and Tybalt Ulricht and John Festa all taught lessons. Among other moves, we learned how to lead a reverse whip. The community meeting was full of good ideas for how to get more people to West Coast Swing events, including new ways to publicize the Gotham Swing Club's Gotham Gatherings, where club members will get together at a different existing event each month. The party, which started at 9 pm and went until late, was a lot of fun.
