New York Theatre Ballet will perform in the Farm Fresh Festival on Saturday, September 17, 2016, in which the Generation Fresh Foundation, Howard Hughes Corporation, Fresh Kids, and Pollen Brands bring together local and national businesses, NYC non-profit organizations, entertainers, and a network of community volunteers, to transform The Seaport District into an interactive and experiential farm environment for kids and families.

New York Theatre Ballet will perform a fifteen-minute interactive demonstration at noon.

Festival Discovery Zones are sponsored by TD Bank, NY Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center, Hornblower Cruises & Events, Tractor Supply Company, Strider Bikes International, Grimmway Farms, iPic Theaters, Aquahydrate, Sean John Clothing, Puckett Marketing and Pine Street School.
In addition to Discovery Zone sponsors, a large network of partners and supporters will provide product, services and resources to create a free community family event, to connect kids and families to a wholesome and magical farm experience in NYC. The theme of the Farm Fresh Kids Festival is EAT, LEARN, PLAY - A Day at the Farm!

The purpose of the Festival is to connect kids with where food comes from, and how food grows. These organizations include Harlem Grown, City Growers NYC, Green Bronx Machine, Edible Schoolyard NYC, Fresh Air Fund, Grow to Learn and others growing a healthy and happy world for kids.

Save the date – Saturday, September 17th! It will be a perfect way to bring the kids to a day at the farm in New York City, and kick off the new school year healthy!
