NaturalTango, Parasol Arts and Community-Minded Dance present the full length dance theatre production Oniria Tango at 7:30 p.m. April 18 - 20 at the Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Theatre, 119 Parker Ave W. Denver, CO, 80205. Tickets are $43, $62, $95 and available online at www.naturaltango.com or by calling 720-284-8234.

This one-of-a-kind production features renowned artist Jorge Muscia, "El Fileteador del Tango", who will begin painting a life size mural on stage. The mural grows before your eyes as world class Tango dancers Gustavo Naviera, Giselle Anne, Donato Juarez, Carolina Del Rivero, Guillermo Cerneaz and Gaby Mataloni, Nicholas Jones, Diana Cruz and Amy Anderson translate the story, becoming one with the painting through the beat of the music. In transition between reality and dreamscape, the dancers are then fully integrated into the images and story of the mural.

This seven meter long mural, highlighting images of Tango and South American culture and passion, will be painted over the course of seven days beginning Monday, April 18 and progressing during each show. The audience is immersed in the unique, living art process each night. The NaturalTango Festival continues with events at the Mercury Café, finishing on Sunday, April 24 at the closing Milonga at the Black Box Theatre of the Colorado Ballet.

The director and main creative force of Oniria Tango, Diana Cruz, has been defining concepts to make a truly unique tango show experience since 2009. The complex process of Oniria Tango began turning its gears on in July 2015 in Buenos Aires; with artists based in Buenos Aires and Denver/Boulder, the idea and dance-writing develops in each of these cities as a culturally rich experience.

Collaborator, hosts, supporters: NaturalTango Festival, Parasol Arts, CMDance, Behind The Ogden, Mercury Café, Boulder Tango Studio.
