Maximiliano Guerra is considered by international critics as one of the most important dancers today for his extraordinary technique and his capacity to interpret a variety of classic as well as contemporary roles.

In his latest show ¨Secuencias¨ where he danced with the Ballet del Mercosur he used a variety of different melodies and in one scene he even fused together in the body of music Santaolalla, Bach and Anibal Troilo with distinct African rhythms creating a unique blend. He tends to break away from the traditional use of classical music with a dynamic repertoire of music of all styles in his shows.

Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina Maximiliano Guerra began to study dance when he was ten years old and soon after he managed to enter the Teatro Colon where he studied in the prestigious Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón and that's where he decided he wanted to become a professional dancer. At only forty-one years of age he has already accomplished the task of dancing principal roles in the Bolshoi in Moscow, San Carlo in Naples, the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Metropolitan Opera House in New York.
