Come dance tango at the studio where Al Pacino learned for Scent of a Woman!
Sunday nights from 8pm until midnight is DanceSport's famous milonga: El Recodo!

El Recodo on Sunday nights at DS have become a classic among the Tango community in NYC. This night began nine years ago in a desire to give both beginning and advanced dancers a great Buenos Aires style environment for enjoying dancing to the best Tango music possible. We named this milonga El Recodo in honor of the great Tango song by the same name - which in Spanish means… a cozy place to gather and dance.

DS teachers host the evening and some of the greatest dancers in the city join us. You may even see one of our students, teachers, or guest artists perform an impromptu Tango - that will surely inspire you.
DS Students - $7; Guests - $12

Also, Wednesdays from 9:30-midnight we have our weekly Argentine Tango practice party, open to all levels, $10 entry fee (FREE for registered students!)

And a visit to DanceSport isn't the same without stopping for a drink or a bite at Paul's Dancing Cafe: a place to sit, chill, have a drink in between "tandas" or savour our delicious homemade "Argentine Empanadas", gourmet sandwiches or savoury salads.

So come stop by for a dance, we look forward to having you join us!
