More Commentary on the EventMai Yee The performances that happened throughout the night included: The band, City Rhythm Orchestra, is from Philadelphia. The vocalists that night were Vicki Woodlyn and Steve Ritrouato. The night ended with a spontaneous dance jam with high-energy swing kid couples, many from out of town and members of dance troupes, trying to best each other and wow'ing the crowd with lightening fast lindy footwork and showy moves. The Croatian Cultural Center will be the new home for the New York Swing Dance Society's one Sunday a month swing night, after having held this event for many years at Irving Plaza.
