The Platinum Party (West Coast Swing and Hustle) at Club 412

Tonight was another fun party at Club 412. Erik Novoa hosted his monthly Platinum Party with Lori Brizzi helping out by teaching a Hustle lesson. Dancers could choose between Lori's lesson and Erik's West Coast Swing lesson. Wes Carrajat DJed the party. 81 people attended the party. Many stayed until closing around Midnight.

The party is usually held the Third Thursday of each month, and is $15 per person (including lessons) at the door, or $12 paid in advance. Club 412 has a full cash bar and a great floor. Check out Erik's website, www.SwingShoes.net, for more info.

Erik gives a free lesson late in the party to a couple who just arrived. The couple were enthusiastic about going out dancing, but unfamiliar with West Coast Swing. This is emblematic of the kind of guy Erik is: he takes the time for people while also always looking for ways he can help grow the dance community.
